Rishabh at the receiving end after fans troll him for not appealing

Rishabh Pant, young-wicket keeper batman, is again at the receiving end of the things after his lazy keeping in the second game of IPL 2020. This time, the 20-year old came under the scrutiny for not appealing on a regulation catch.

In 16th over of innings, KXIP’s batsman Krishnappa Gawtham nicked a pacy delivery from Kagiso Rabada to Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant, though, did well to catch the ball but he didn’t appeal for the catch and Rabada has to do it all alone. With people finding topics to make memes and troll, Rishabh is the new bunny for a few days.

Coming to the match, in the second game of the #Dream11IPL2020, Delhi Capitals and KXIP produced a match for ages for cricket fans tournament yesterday. In a wonderful evening of Dubai, DC and KXIP, two franchises in the hunt of elusive IPL title, encored one gem of a game that kept oscillating like pendulum before Super Rabada ripped apart KXIP in Super Over.

After being invited to bat first on a spongy wicket, Delhi Capitals didn’t have a greatest of starts as they lost three wickets inside powerplay before Captain Iyer and Pant did some repairing work. But the duo could not carry on and soon DC was 100/6 in 17 overs. Then came the hero of the day – Marcus Stoinis, who played a blinder to surge DC to 157/8 in 20 overs.

KXIP were even worse in chase as they lost five wickets for just 55 in ten overs. But it was time for another hero of the day – Mayank Agarwal, who along with Krishnappa Gowtham, paced the innings superbly to put KXIP on the verge of victory. But, Stoinis again happened to KXIP as they failed to make 1 run of last 3 balls and match came in Super Over. After that it was all Rabada to win it for Delhi Capitals.
