A Great initiative was took by cricketing fraternity and road safety founder to play series for the concern over safety in road travelling. Road Safety World T20 Series was started in 2020 where only four matches was held and the remaining series was cancelled due to outbreak of coronavirus.
Now the good news struck is that the remaining matches of the series will be again resumed and will be played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur.
Now The Road Safety World T20 Series will be played between 2nd March to 21st March. It will be joyful news as the legends like Sachin Tendulkar , Brian Lara, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Virender Sehwag, Brett Lee, Muttiah Muralitharan and many more great players will be back in action.
Five countries players are playing the series like Australia, South Africa, Sri-Lanka, West Indies and India.
Even Bhupesh Baghel, Chief Minister of Chattisgarh also praises the initiative towards road safety concern led by these legends through cricket is amazing concept.
“It is a matter of great pride and honour to be hosting the legends in Raipur during the Road Safety World Series, which I believe is a wonderful concept to create awareness about the menace, and a very important one given that one person dies every four minutes on Indian roads”

Even the Founder of World Road Safety Series, Ravi Gaikwad is happy to resume the tournament as with this series, people will have great awareness towards road travellers.
“The year gone by has taught us a very important lesson, to be compassionate towards our fellowmen, if we can show the same compassion and empathy to everyone on the road our roads will be safer for all- walkers, cyclists, bikers, motorists et all”.
