World cup is going to happen next month and every country is announcing their squad for cricket world cup 201. New Zealand has already announced their squad for cricket world cup 2019. India is going to announce their squad on 15th April. Meanwhile, former Australian legendary spinner Shane Warne has predicted Australian team for cricket world cup. He announced his team through a tweet from his official account on twitter. In his tweet he announced his team XI and the full squad also for Australia in world world cup 2019.

The interesting thing about his team is that there is no Usman Khawaja in his team! Usman Khawaja is the leading run-scorer for Australia in one-day internationals. In 2019, he scored 769 runs in 13 matches, with an average of 59.15. Despite that Shane Warne has not included him in his team.

Many other in-form players like Peter Handscomb, Josh Hazlewood are not included in Shane Warne’s squad. Shaun Marsh was included in his squad, but found no spot in the playing XI. Instead he selected D’Arcy Short, who has played just four ODIs till now with his last being in November 2018. Moreover, Warne has selected D’Arcy Short as an opener with David Warner!

Aaron Finch, the skipper, has been placed at No.3 spot by Shane Warne, with Steve Smith following him. Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis and Alex Carey made up Warne’s middle order, with bowlers like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Jhye Richardson and Adam Zampa completing Warne’s XI.

Before announcing his pick, Warne stated that the conditions in England and Wales must be kept in mind while considering any squad. Cricket Australia is expected to announce their World Cup squad by 23 April, but with over 20 players in contention for the 15 spots, competition is tight.
