Smriti Mandhana is one of the important cogs in Indian Women’s Cricket team. The 23- year old dashing opener is one of the finest hitters of the ball in Indian Team. She has impressed one and all with her audacious shot making and sublime timing. And in no time, the young prodigy from Mumbai has become the face of Indian top order batting.
At a time when the World is facing possibly the biggest crisis since the second World War in 1940’s, the players and fans are keeping themselves busy by interacting on social media and surfing their interests. Former players and the current stalwarts of game are spending a good amount of time by conducting question answer sessions on twitter and other social media platforms.
On Friday, Smriti Mandhana also took to twitter and conducted a Question and Answer session to interact with her fans. As expectedly, Smiriti faced a plethora of question from her fans as the fans were keen to know about the interests and future plans of their favourite player.
Over the course of interaction, the Indian batting beauty talked about a few interesting aspects of her life, in the process revealing some of her interests in younger days. When asked about her crush, the 23-year old, in a surprise revelation, named the Bollywood star and one of the most handsome men Hrithik Roshan as her long time crush. “Since my childhood @iHrithik 😍😍” tweeted Smriti in the response to a fan’s question.
A fan also questioned Mandhana about her relationship status. In an interesting reply, Mandhana played down the question by replying -she doesn’t know. In the session, Mandhana also had some funny moments with her India teammate Jemimah Rodrigues. When a user asked Smriti whether she’s missing her mate, Smriti tried to pull the leg of her teammate with the reply, “I’m at peace without her.” Saddened by the reply, Jemimah asked Alexa to play the song Bewafa before Mandhana consoled her by asking asking Alexa to play the song ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ from the movie, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
