Jaydev Unadkat is the captain of Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy. He has been a decent entertainer for his group and was the most elevated wicket-taker in the 2019-20 period of the Ranji Trophy. Post the 2019-20 season, the homegrown competition couldn’t happen due to the country’s steady fight with the pandemic. 

The competition was dropped last year and has been deferred once more this year. Disheartened by the postponement, the Indian cricketer took to his Twitter handle and tweeted the enthusiastic post.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah has given an assertion in a public statement where he said that the board will keep on surveying the circumstances and accept an approach to the beginning of the competitions in a similar manner.

“The Ranji Trophy & Col CK Nayudu Trophy were scheduled to begin this month while the Senior Women’s T20 League was scheduled to commence in February,” stated by Jay Shah in the press release.

The players will need the competition to get in progress quickly as they can’t manage the cost of the competition to get dropped two years straight. 

With respect to now, it looks exceptionally impossible for the competition to start due to the upsurge in the COVID cases the nation over.
