He has returned from Goa where he had vacation and finally resulted with positive report just 2 days ago.
It will be a big concern for the KKR as he was prominently efficient for the franchise in the middle order. His last season appearance was also worth remembering. Even the left handed batsman had great season in the domestic tournament that is Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Delhi Team.
It is yet not confirmed that the news is trustworthy as the official announcement is yet to be announced but in Dainik Bhaskar Newspaper, suggests that he is currently under isolation in the hotel at Mumbai under the strict monitoring of doctors.
In the Last 4 seasons, Rana has adjourned to score at least a total of 300 runs while in the previous edition he scored 352 runs with a decent strike rate of 138.58.
Right now only Nitish Rana is considered to be covid positive as no other cases has been proven yet.
If Nitish Rana wont take part in the opening match for KKR then it will be a big concern for them as he being a crucial asset for the franchise in the middle order.
IPL will be start from 9th April with Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore while the opening match for Kolkata Knight Riders will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 11th April 2021.
