After a devastating loss in the first Test by Indian Team they will be in bit trouble situation as they have to win the series anyhow to sustain their berth in the ICC Test Championship Race. On the other side, England will be more happy with their dominance performance in all the three departments.

India have to do more in their process as the team needs to attain some core issues to resolve the perfect combination. Talking on this, Former Indian Cricketer Sunil Gavaskar suggests that India should go with Kuldeep Yadav instead of Shahbaz Nadeem in the second Chennai Test.

Kuldeep Yadav hasn’t appeared to the national test side since 2 years so it will be big concern for his presence as well. Sunil Gavaskar reckons that a quality all time spinner is must in the team who can provide combination with Ravichandran Ashwin.

He is also disappointed with performance by Nadeem as he bowled nine no balls in span of 59 overs.

“Maybe in the hindsight, they could have included Kuldeep Yadav a bit of variety. Because you have two off-spinners Washington Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin” quoted by Gavaskar as said by Star Sports.

“And particularly spinner anxious to get it going. And when that happens, you tend to overstep. It happened with Ashwin as well. After a long time, he bowled a no-ball. So yes, those are the areas India need to look at,” added by Gavaskar.

“Maybe they will bring Kuldeep Yadav for the next Test in place of Nadeem or Washington Sundar, whoever it is. But they need to look at dismissing England for lesser than what they scored this around. I think, Shahbaz Nadeem  got just a little bit nervous. I’m not even talking about the way he bowls but the no-balls it’s always an indication that the bowler is a little too anxious” stated by Gavaskar.

On the other side, Washington Sundar presence in the playing XI is doubtful as he couldn’t perform well with ball as not taking a wicket in total of 27 overs. Only positive thing is that he batted well with scoring unbeaten 85 in the first inning.
