Mumbai Indians is the three times IPL title winner team and every time the captain was Rohit Sharma. This time also Rohit Sharma leads the team. From last few Season of IPL Rohit Sharma played in middle order. But in IPL auction 2019 they have bought Yuvraj Singh who will give stability in middle order. So this time Rohit Sharma decided to play as an opening batsman.

In the opening department they have gone with Rohit Sharma and Quniton de Kock. In middle order they have so many options like Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Insan Kishan, Kieron Pollard etc. They also have some world class all-rounder like Ben Cutting, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, etc. In wicket keeper they have two options one is Quinton de Kock and other is Inshan Kishan but they have gone with Quinton de Kock.

For Mumbai Indians this time there are two big losses as Lasith Malinga will not play in starting 6 matches and Adam Milne will not play due to Injury. Lasith Malinga is playing in T-20 series against South Africa so he will play IPL after 6 matches of MI in IPL. Mumbai Indians also have one other world class fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Other fast bowlers of Mumbai Indians are Barinder Sran, Jason Behrendorff etc. In spin bowling department Mayank Markande, Rahul chahar and Jayant Yadav are the important players for MI.

Every time all-rounder gives stability to Mumbai Indians and this time also MI looking more stable because this time they have one more important all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. In bowling department also, they can try Yuvraj Singh.
