Each batting group has six wickets – at the fall of the 6th wicket, they are hard and fast. Each batting group will have two PowerPlay overs and an extra power-play can be opened assuming that they figure out how to hit two sixes in the initial 12 balls.

This extra PowerPlay over can be taken whenever between overs 3-9. There will be 30 balls bowled from one end before the activity changes to the opposite end for the excess 30 balls.

The 30 balls will be delivered as 5 separate overs, with no bowler having the option to bowl multiple overs for the innings.

On the off chance that groups don’t bowl their overs inside the dispensed time, the bowling crew will actually want to handle only 10 players in the last over. Fans will decide in favour of the planning of a “Mystery Free Hit” where a player can’t be out  by the bowler.

The 2022 release of the CPL will be played between August 30 and September 30 with the people’s competitions running close by one another.
