Indian Premier League 2021 will kick start from April 9th with Mumbai Indians versus Royal Challengers Bangalore match in Chennai. But before the start of the season, the Coivd-19 cases fear have been started.
A Chennai Super Kings member has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Saturday in Mumbai. As per a Times of India report, the report of the unidentified member came to light today and has since been isolated.
“It is an official from the CSK content team. His tests came through today, following which he has been completely isolated from the rest of the squad. It can be confirmed that he didn’t go anywhere near the players and support staff. So they are all safe and the team will continue to practice as usual today,” a source told TOI.
“There are no breaches, and the team has been adhering to all the protocols strictly. It is unfortunate that a member of the content team got affected. But it has put the team on guard, and they are taking all kinds of precautions,” the source confirmed.

With this news, Chennai Super Kings camp will be upset as the same they witnessed in the previous edition as well. It will be a huge blow if it continues in the camp and which can lead to a bit of uncertainty as well.
CSK will start their IPL 2021 Campaign against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 10 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Delhi franchise too received a major blow on Saturday as star all-rounder Axar Patel tested positive for the deadly virus.
