In 13th season of Indian Premier League might be short of fans on the ground but it never be short of bizarre decisions, high flying emotions, game changing moments and drama associated with them.
In the fourth match of the season between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, an Umpiring blunder almost framed MS Dhoni as a cheat. In the 18th over of the innings, Deepak Chahar bowled a sharp cutter that cut Rajasthan Royals Tom Curran into half and settled into the mitts of Dhoni(or it seemed so) off an edge.

On the vociferous appeal from the CSK camp, the on-field umpire gave Sam Curran out even without checking whether the catch was clean or not. With Royals left without any review, Tom Curran reached out to umpire to refer it to third umpire. However, after a little discussion with Square-leg umpire, Tom Curran was ordered to march towards pavilion.
And then came the moment of twist, in the meantime, the third umpire watched the replay of big screen and intervened the decision to call back Tom Curran on the field. Dhoni looked quite displeased with the drama that was folding out.
But in what came a shock to many, the ball clearly bounced off the turf before settling into the mitts of Dhoni. Subsequently the decision was reversed and Dhoni, who was confident of catch, has to take back seat.
The whole drama gave fans another topic for memes and discussion as the twitter went behind Dhoni for not showing game spirit and honesty with the decision.
Remember last year Dhoni had gone on to the field from dugout to fight with umpires at Jaipur. #RRvCSK

Hope Dhoni won't fight with umpires like last year he did. That too against Rajasthan
