Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the history of IPL with 5 IPL Trophies in their name. Rohit Sharma has been the most effective captain in this league format with most number of IPL Trophy.

But in this year’s IPL, Mumbai Indians had a devastating season with being the first team to be knocked out of the tournament.

They had only one win in the last nine matches with eight regular losses with awful net run rate also. All they can do is just prepare themselves for the next season.

They had a pretty good buy in the mega auction with the likes of Jofra Archer, Tim David in their campaign but Jofra Archer couldn’t be available in this year’s IPL due to injury which led them to a loophole in the bowling department.

Now with remaining matches, they had hit with another blow as their Star pacer has been ruled out of the team due to injury.

In what is a major blow for Mumbai Indians, their expert left arm pacer Tymal Mills has been precluded because of an injury. He has been supplanted by South African Tristan Stubbs.

“Stubbs recently debuted for the national South African A Squad against Zimbabwe. Tristan has had a very promising domestic season and played an important role for his team in the recently concluded T20 domestic league,”statement given by MI in a press release.

Tristan will join the MI crew until the end of the time.
