As moving towards the end of the league stages of  Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, stakes in the leftover games have gone higher. While certain groups as of now have one foot in the end of the season games, a few need to crush hard to go through.  Delhi Capitals, who have blown hot and cold this season, have a place with the last classification. Sadly for them, nonetheless, Prithvi Shaw isn’t probably going to be ruled out until the end of the time.

Former Australian all-rounder and DC assistant coach Shane Watson, on Thursday (May 12), expressed that Shaw is probably not going to be accessible for Delhi’s last two association stage games.

For the unversed, the dapper opener missed DC’s last three games because of a fundamental fever and his absence  has fairly hampered the mix.

“I don’t know his diagnosis exactly. But he has just had this underlying fever for the previous couple of weeks, which they’ve had to really get to the bottom of it to find out exactly what it was,” stated by Shane Watson to Grade Cricketer.

“It’s not looking great for him to be available for the last couple of games, which is a big shame because he is an incredibly skilful young batter, taking the best bowlers in the world down a lot of the time,” further added by him.

“It’s a big loss for us to not have him. The last couple of weeks he has been under the weather. Hopefully, he gets back to full health soon, but unfortunately, it’s not going to be in time for the minimum of the last two games that we’ve got,”concluded by Watson.
