India have lost the semi-finals of ICC cricket world cup 2019 against New Zealand. Team India failed to chase down the target of 240 runs. They have lost the early wicket of top order batsman. MS Dhoni came to bat at number 7. So many questions around the air, why MS Dhoni could not come to bat at Number 4 or 5.
Because, if he was batted in up to the orders, then the match result may be different. No one can understand why MS Dhoni came to bat early. He scored a fifty and got run out, but the result would be different if he came to bat early. India sent him after Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya.
Sourav Ganguly also could not understand why India sent MS Dhoni to bat late.
“It’s very hard to understand. No MS Dhoni yet,” Sourav Ganguly said.
“There you see MS Dhoni. You have got 10-and-half thousand runs. Average 50 and he is not in yet when India is under pressure. That’s not acceptable. I know he is a good finisher, but this is a long way from finished. India needed all his experience, all his ability. And at any stage, you needed his batting experience; it’s this one. When you’re three down or 4 down for 25, you needed your most experienced batsman,” he added.
In a video, Virat Kohli furious toward Ravi Shastri after Rishabh Pant’s dismissal. Rishabh got out to play an irresponsible shot.
Now India will tour West Indies at the end of this month for a bilateral series. Chris Gayle will play his last international series after that he may retire from international cricket. During this tour, India will play three ODIs, three T20Is and two tests. Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah may be rested for this series.
