Anil Kumble appreciates India’s bowling effort during the semi-final
“Indian bowling was brilliant, at the start, the pacers bowled in great areas. Once Jadeja and Chahal came in, they used the conditions well. Yes, bowling was exceptional, the pitch though is something India need to be careful of when batting,” Anil Kumble said.
“Don’t expect this to be a semi-final pitch; even South Africa-Australia game had a belter of a wicket. It could be just India’s bowling, but it looks like there is a lot of slowness in this wicket, it’s not easy to hit your shots. Jaddu is a fantastic bowler, but I think Kuldeep would have still done well. Jadeja’s role is not taking too many wickets. Jadeja did an exceptional job and hence Hardik was able to bowl his second spell,” he added.
