After Chennai Super Kings captain, MS Dhoni assisted his Yellow army to win the first Qualifier of the Indian Premier League 2021, and take them to the finale event, with his unstable completing capacities, his Royal Challengers partner, Virat Kohli took to Twitter to salute CSK’s adored Thala Dhoni.
Labelling Dhoni in a post, the active RCB and India skipper Virat Kohli tweeted,
“Anddddd the king is back, the greatest finisher ever in the game. Made me jump Outta my seat once again tonight.”
MS Dhoni will be in action to guide Team India as Mentor, when they take the field for the T20 World Cup in Dubai, in the not so distant future.

In the present match, MS Dhoni won the toss and selected to bowl first keeping the pattern of the arena and CSK’s exhibition as a top priority. Delhi Capitals got off to a flying beginning on account of their star openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw. In the meantime, Shaw resembled a man on a mission and didn’t let CSK bowlers settle down.
Prithvi Shaw got out in the wake of scoring 60 runs in 34 balls where he hit seven fours and three sixes. A whirlwind of wickets put DC in a precarious situation as they were 80/4 of every 10 overs. Shimron Hetmyer and Rishabh Pant took the charge from that point on and shared 83 runs for the fifth wicket. DC captain scored an unbeaten 51 runs in 35 balls and took Delhi Capitals’ complete to 172/5 of every 20 overs.

Accordingly, CSK got off to a helpless beginning as they lost their star opener Faf du Plessis in the first over as Anrich Nortje bowled a splendid in-swinger. Robin Uthappa crushed DC bowlers for entertainment only and scored a fine fifty while putting on a 110-run remainder with Ruturaj Gaikwad for the subsequent wicket.
Uthappa got out subsequent to scoring 63 runs in 44 balls, in the interim, Gaikwad continued to score runs and crossed the 600-run mark in the IPL 2021 and scored another fifty. He got out subsequent to scoring 70 runs in 50 balls which highlights five fours and two sixes. MS Dhoni came to complete the match after Gaikwad’s wicket.
Dhoni – the finisher was in plain view today as he scored three continuous boundaries to book CSK’s position in the last of the IPL 2021 with a four-wicket win in qualifier 1.
