Rajasthan Royals pacer Jofra Archer has been in headlines lately for his old tweet prophesies going viral. Though, those old tweets are more like a humour and meme material for fans, a recent tweet of Shane Watson has gone viral after CSK’s victory over KXIP last night.

Chennai Super Kings registered their second win in five matches yesterday after they comprehensively chased down 178 runs target. It was a much-needed win for Chennai Supe Kings as they have lost three consecutive matches, chasing the target previously.

Though three consecutive losses weren’t the much worrying thing for CSK, it was the manner in which they lost, concerned everyone. In of the previous three chases, CSK never looked at ease and was always one ball behind in the chase.

However, this time both Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis, CSK openers, showed great intent and ruthlessness to bury the hatchet. Such was the audacity in the chase that Faf and Watson matched each other shot by shot to hit eighties in one sided chase. The duo shared an unbeaten stand of 181 runs as Chennai Super Kings completed a perfect chase (with 10 wickets in hand) to grab two important points.

After Chennai Super Kings won the match, a recent tweet from Watson gone viral. On 3rd October, the all-rounder posted a encouraging tweet reading: “ The perfect game for @ChennaiIPL is coming!!! ������@ChennaiIPL #WhistlePodu #Yellove.”


And coincidently, CSK registered a perfect win on 4th October to prove Watson right. Ever since the tweet gone viral, fans are coming up with different reactions and humours replies on the post.

With this facile win Chennai Super Kings also raised to 6th place in points table. On the other hand, KXIP succumbed to their 4th loss of the season to finish at bottom of the table.
